Isometric explainer video case studies

Four systems nobody could see — until we drew them. Each case below shows the buyer problem, the specific isometric technique we used, and what changed for the client's sales conversation. For the wider body of work, see the full portfolio, or request a quote for your own system.

From "boring portal" to factory-floor command center

CLIENT · ATS AUTOMATION · 10-chapter walkthrough · ~3:00 · industrial automation explainer video
The challenge

When a machine stopped, customers reached for calls, texts, WhatsApp and email — then waited while a technician was scheduled or a part shipped. MyPortal solved this, but it was being sold like dry administrative software.

Isometric technique

A character-led isometric story: operator Anna moves from downtime chaos to one connected scene — machines, warranty status, service bulletins, at-risk parts, open service requests and spare-parts ordering in a single spatial view, with preventive and predictive monitoring layered on top.

Result → Repositioned the portal as a factory-floor command center and gave sales a three-minute narrative that replaces lengthy feature walkthroughs on discovery calls.
Making invisible session-token theft visible
Enterprise Cybersecurity

Making invisible session-token theft visible

CLIENT · ATTIC BOUNCER · ~1:00 · cybersecurity explainer video
The challenge

Business email compromise is a leading financial threat to small and medium organisations, but MFA is bypassed via stolen session tokens — malware, AiTM phishing pages, access brokers. Detecting every theft is costly and often blind; harm is only done once the token is used.

Isometric technique

A semi-isometric "front door" metaphor built around the one place an attacker cannot avoid — the sign-in logbook. The token handshake is staged spatially so the exact moment of compromise becomes something you can point at.

Result → Turned an invisible attack into a one-minute deployable story, down to the two-minute setup — lowering technical hesitation in every buyer conversation.
Cross-border fraud prevention, told as one story
Logistics & Supply Chain

Cross-border fraud prevention, told as one story

CLIENT · GLS · ~1:45 · logistics explainer video
The challenge

Anna's small business depends on shipping valuable parcels across borders, but package losses and last-mile reclamations kept hitting her reputation and customer trust. The data-driven prevention behind Trust Courier was invisible — ops buyers could not picture what it actually did.

Isometric technique

A character-led isometric story staging Trust Courier's two engines spatially: Fraud Watcher flagging unusual routes and suspicious addresses before a high-value parcel ships, and Reclamation Radar reading patterns from past deliveries to catch loss-prone addresses — an evolving database learning from every delivery.

Result → Made a predictive, data-driven security layer tangible to operations buyers without a live demo — showing prevention, not just tracking.
Making an invisible credit-building engine make sense
FinTech

Making an invisible credit-building engine make sense

CLIENT · KIKOFF · ~1:05 · fintech explainer video
The challenge

Kikoff opens a specialised trade line purely to build credit — not for everyday spending. That counterintuitive model ("have credit and don't use it") and the bureau-reporting loop behind it are invisible plumbing, hard for a new user to trust on day one.

Isometric technique

A clean isometric walkthrough of the credit engine: the trade line, on-time monthly payments reported to all three bureaus, and how the key factors — payment history, utilisation, account age, credit mix — stack up to lift a user's score over time.

Result → Turned an abstract, counterintuitive product into a simple visual users could trust on day one — reinforcing the "make payments, leave the rest to us" promise.
FAQ

Case study questions

Are these published with client permission?+
Yes. Every case study on this page features work that is publicly published by the client or shared with their agreement. We do not publish work covered by an active NDA.
Can you produce a case study like this for us?+
That is the standard engagement. Every project starts with a systems brief where we identify the specific clarity gap — the same first step behind each case above.
What did these cost?+
Projects on this page fall across our published packages — $750 for 30 seconds, $1,500 for 60 seconds, $2,500 for 90 seconds — with longer multi-chapter pieces like the ATS walkthrough quoted per scope.

Your system could be next.

Send us the product that keeps stalling on demos and we'll map where an isometric asset closes the gap.
